Gel Pen

OHTO Rays Flash Dry Gel Pen 0.5mm

$11.99

Why lefties reach for this one

Dries instantly — the Flash Dry gel ink sets right after it hits the page, so there's far less smearing.

Very dark black ink — lines come out deep and crisp, even with the fine 0.5 mm tip.

A strong needle point — the 0.5 mm needle-point tip is built to be sturdy and writes a crisp, fine line.

Solid metal details — a steel back barrel and clip and a brass taper give it a sturdy feel at just 13.3 g.

Easy to refill — it takes OHTO's PG-105NP gel refill, a G2-size refill.

Description

Dark gel ink that dries the moment you write

The Rays is a gel pen from Japanese pen maker OHTO. It comes loaded with OHTO's Flash Dry gel refill, which OHTO says dries instantly on the page. That makes it a great pick for left-handed writers and fast note-takers who are tired of smearing their own writing.

The ink is a very dark black, and OHTO's strong 0.5 mm needle-point tip puts down a crisp, fine line. The body pairs an ABS front barrel with a steel back barrel and clip and a brass taper, so it feels solid without being heavy at 13.3 g.

The clip has a raised 3D "R" mark, a small detail that makes it easy to recognize. We carry it in black, navy and olive. When the ink runs out, it takes OHTO's PG-105NP gel refill.
